CNN's Blatant Bias...

I took a screenshot of CNN's website this morning. I woke up and went to read the news and thought I had accidentally went to Faux News. Take a look at CNN's headline story and their election coverage stories. 100% In favor of Romney. It seems to me they are trying to create their own narrative before the debate that things are more even than what they truly are.

I don't even think the poll they were referring to even had them tied. I believe it had Obama 3 points ahead. CNN clearly has an agenda this week.

There is this sickness in the media these days that equates 50/50 coverage with objectivity. That is bullshit. The objective is supposed to be truth, not equal time.

CNN never tried the truth thing, and to be fair, that might not have been successful for them either, and it would have caused problem with advertisers.

So instead they went with the "safe" 50/50 route, trying to give equal time to truth and lies. That didn't work because the only people who want to hear the lies really don't want to waste any time on the truth.

Meanwhile MSNBC has clearly grabbed the second position and is competing vigorously with Faux for the top spot in key demographics. CNN has become a bad joke -- an afterthought -- essentially irrelevant.

So CNN seems to have a new strategy -- try to take some market share from Faux. Good luck with that one.
