And he is beyond stellar!

Plus he has head start from impeachment.

He would be a killer AG, but his experience as a legislator is needed.

And, trust me, if he ends up the AG, I certainly won't complain !

I was shocked qt how lackluster some on our side were during impeachment. I think it might have been on the senate side. I didn't have the stomach to watch much of that.

I also read here on DU that Schiff is being groomed for Speaker of the House.

I just want the best & I know Joe will choose an all-star team! I just really really want a brilliant bulldog AG!

I'm not sure - lol. It's fun to speculate though.

Wouldn't Sally or Preet be considered conflict of interest because of chump?

I'm sure repukes would whine about this.

But maybe we are just all done playing their snowflake game?

I think they would both be great!

....positions are filled with people no one ever heard of before🙄. Joe probably doesn't want to get into investigating or prosecuting Trump ... Just let the states do it (if even that). Sadly, that's the way this shit works. Prosecuting him would take all the air out of a Biden administration. Damn it!!!!...it's frustrating!

Doug Jones certainly knows his way around and, in my most humble opinion, would make a fantastic AG.

Again, the AG needs to know DOJ inside and out to fix (and prosecute) all the wreckage left by BARR--not just be an excellent prosecutor, which I agree, Jones is. He has knowledge as a former US Attorney for Northern Alabama (not Al AG) but I'm not sure he is quite prepared as Preet or Yates for the internal issues at Justice-main. Still, he is among our abundance of "riches" in terms experience and possible candidates.
