Underway in Barcelona: the Global Clean Energy Forum
The International Herald Tribune published a Clean Energy special report on Tuesday with articles on hydrogen-fueled autorickshaws, compressed air as a way to store energy, ways to capture wave energy from the sea, geothermal power mining in Japan and renewable energy in Saudi Arabia.
The report comes as experts from around the world are meeting in Barcelona at the Global Clean Energy Forum, a conference convened by the International Herald Tribune.
In a showcase session Tuesday, the first day of the conference, six selected teams will present clean energy projects. Each of the presenters is given five minutes to explain their work, their challenges and their successes. Starting at 2 P.M. Central European time you can watch this session here live, or come back later in the day to view a recorded broadcast.
