I'm not ready

While the news of a possible vaccine being ready I'm not. During this "lockdown" I've transformed the way I eat, I walk/bike everyday
I've gone from all day couch sitting to an hour of planned exercise everyday, along with yard, housework I've neglected for years.
This thing has energized me to transform myself. I'm scared going back to "normal" will F*** everything up I've worked towards.
Hoping it's been long enough to build good habits. Don't get me wrong. I'm thrilled about certain aspects of course. I know for a large majority of the population being social again will be life saving, in more ways than one.

Thought about it as I was getting ready this morning. Addicts face this when they get clean, and have to integrate themselves back to
"real" life. Plenty of time to get a mindset that this "new" life is the future. I'm ok now.

The vaccine trial is just the first step in a very long road.

Dad called, took me by surprise the news. All I could think, no no not yet! His excitement about all the traveling he would be doing gave the illusion it was happening NOW! I am laughing as I'm typing.

Just like Biden being elected gives us hope the vaccine trial gives us hope too however the manufacturing and distribution will take a while just like Joe fixing everything will take time too.

Created a fully functional home gym. I like what I've done, I won't change back to the way it was - vaccine or no.

It took a long time to get here, and it will take a long time to get out. I really like things the way they are now. Stress free, very little social contact to upset things. I'm sure there will be enough time to prepare for the plunge into stressors.
