What the Pennsylvania ruling means today in regards with the election

Let's look at the electoral votes again:

Solid Obama wins: Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, DC, Maryland, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine - Total 227 Electoral Votes

Looking Good Obama wins - New Mexico, Nevada Another 10 Electoral Votes

Solid Romney wins: Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North & South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisianna, Missouri, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, West Virginia, Alaska, Arizona - Total 185 Electoral votes

So right now Romney only has 185 Electoral to Obamas 237.

The tossup states are:

Colorado 9
Iowa 6
North Carolina 15
Virginia 13
New Hampshire 4

Outstanding bad voter ID laws and attempts to steal the election were Florida 29, Ohio 18 and Pennsylvania 20 - that's 67 Electoral Votes that regardless of polling COULD possibly go Romney because of the suppressive Voter ID laws. If Romney could steal all 3 states he would be at 253 then would just have to pick up some small winnable states like Iowa and New Hampshire for the win.

You take Pennsylvania out of the theft column and into the Solid Obama Win that makes it very difficult for Romney. Obama is now at 258 and he's been polling well in all of the swing states and could easily pick up the 12 electoral votes to win. Romney would have to both Virginia and North Carolina and then pick up 2 out of 3 with New Hampshire, Colorado and Iowa. And mind you that would only work IF the steals work in Florida and Ohio. Florida is definitely a swing state but if everyone who is legally allowed to vote and wants to vote gets to vote and have their vote counted - Obama would win Ohio. Only way Romney can win Ohio is if they manage to steal it.

So losing the voter ID law in PA is a huge blow for Romney and pretty much makes it slim pickings for Romney to win the states needed to win this election.

My final prediction - 305 to 233 Obama wins.

I bet you could, even if you'd make Delaware disproportionately big.

As you say, it's all about the electoral votes.

because the judge explictly wrote that he did not enjoin election officials from still asking for a Photo ID, although a voter will not be required to produce one. I.e., wiggle room for intimidation.

There was a recent story on local news. 86,000 people have been purged from the Iowa voter rolls. I do not know what is behind the numbers. However, the purging of the 86,000 was used to justify and explain why Iowa Republican registrations surpass Democratic voter registrations.

So apparently, a good chunk of that 86,000 purge was Democrats. Mother truckers!

Also, Iowa has crazy insane voter ID laws working their way through the court system. I don't know the status. I will try to find out. We have a right-wing lunatic SOS who made up some "emergency" voter ID law and voter-rights groups sued. It is my understanding that this is what is being settled at this time.
