Did you see the Colbert piece on UniCor Prison Labor?

The (real) promotional video is amazing. "The oursourcing secret is out! Domestic labor at off-shore prices!" while showing rows of American prison inmates toiling away.

They make, among other things, uniforms for the US military.

It extends out about 2 1/2" for the second head. Save water, shower with a friend.

While making those uniforms.

But, hey, it's better than kitchen work preparing all the meals for inmates and staff. Those prisoners make $0.04/per hour.
