Knock the bastard down hard enough that he won't get up.

Then touch gloves with Biden and turn him lose on Eddie Munster.

he doesn't do knockouts and it is not necessary. Who wants to put Mitt out of his misery anyway? I'm enjoying his misery, personally.

Obama can do some knockouts.

It's Mitten's own fault. The guy has been lying his ass off. He said that Obama was cutting the work requirement for Medicare. He said that Obama was gutting Medicaid to pay for Obamacare. He said that Obama's reaction to the Lybian protests were actually his reaction to the death of Ambassador Stevens. And the shameful list goes on and on and on.

All Obama has to do is tell the truth.

He doesn't have to be mean. He doesn't have to have zingers. His blood pressure can stay at a level, comprable to when you're sitting on the couch and having a calm discussion. Just tell the truth and explain to the people, at home, on the couches, what the truth is.

That will be a series of knockouts--because Mittens based his entire campaign on lie after lie.

Of course, that's the way the media will report it -- over and over and over and over.

When they say "Romney needs to win the debate," they mean "We need Romney to win the debate," and as long as WIllard shows up, they will declare him the winner.

First, they have set the bar ridiculously low. All he has to do is come on stage. He can lie, he can hem and haw, he can have pee running down his leg, but they will declare him the winner.

If they don't, a lot of bad things (for them) happen. First, the "pundits" have nothing to pundit about for a month. They're out of business. Campaign ads -- and the revenue they bring -- start to dwindle. The same for the parties. If it's declared a slam-dunk for Obama at this stage, both parties will see donations dry up. People only dig deep for a horse race.

More important, the corporatists need to make it appear that this is a democracy and that doesn't happen in a blowout declared a month out.

Remember in the 2000 debate, Gore clearly won. Polls of people who watched the debate clearly indicated he won. But the media decided that Bush had won and that's all we heard non-stop. Watching the clips played by the media, you would have thought that Gore did nothing but sigh all night. He did once or twice, but those handful of incidents were replayed over and over and over -- with the volume jacked up.
