Notorious Voter Suppressor Kenneth Blackwell Denounces Pennsylvania Governor and His Legion of Darkness
Right-wing activist Ken Blackwell, a former Ohio Secretary of State criticized for voter suppression practices and an adviser to the Trump-Pence campaign, pulled out all the rhetorical stops in an attack on Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf published by the American Thinker Monday under the headline, Governor Wolf and his legion of darkness must be stopped in Pennsylvania.

(6,390 posts)Mrs. and I are sitting in a pretty nice restaurant downtown...they seat Blackwell next to us. Mrs and I look at each other for about 10 seconds and nod...so Mrs asks for another table.
Manager comes over and says...well, we pretty well booked up, it could be 15-20-30 minutes. No problemo for us and we're on our feet in a heartbeat.
About 5 minutes later they've got the table reset and they seat another couple there...and THEY GET UP about 2 minutes later. Guy walks past me and says, "now I know why you got up".

(6,390 posts)Memorable for the moment but not really in context with everything else going on. I did feel a little bit like a wanker because his wife seemed nice enough...said hello, smiled...you know...all the normal things ya do with the people at the next table. Him - he was a schlub (surprise surprise).

(17,992 posts)Career ended when he bought the awful Diebold machines. A pile of junk even Republicans would not allow them to be used until a paper receipt was added. I spent several election days straightening those rolls out. They twisted.
