Martin Bashir just threatened to shut Ron Christie down when Ron started to respond to his

question about Romney with a bunch of malarky about the President. Bashir told him to answer the question or he was going to shut down the discussion. Ron made some snarky comment about being in "Bashirland" and was clearly miffed but he complied. It is so good to see an interviewer do this.

It's about time someone called that man on his b.s. I get so frustrated when he is interviewed because he NEVER answers the questions.

instead of answering his questions to them, he calls them on it instead. I love it, it is very refreshing.

I try to give everyone a chance. I gave him one chance up until the point that I first saw him.

He's constantly expressing outrage over something. It must be exhausting.

he answers the question with the talking points he is programmed to get out. For once someone with the power to do so called him out and made it plain he was not going to allow him to do it. Of course, Christie made a snarky remark, but I noticed he stayed on topic. So Martin's threats were taken seriously. I let out a big cheer and wish that other people who have these pundits on their shows would hold their feet to the fire when they stray off topic to "talking points". Jon Stewart would not have as much material when he compiles clips of shills making talking points but it would be much better on my Blood Pressure!!

put Bashir in the 7pm slot to warm up things for Big Ed and Rachel. That would and unbeatable Triple.
