Just tired to look up something there and got THIS!

This web page at thinkprogress.org has been reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

even a simple google search for anything on there has a "THIS SITE MAY HARM YOUR COMPUTER" warning...

Looks like the 'thugs have found a new way to scare people into not learning the truth.

3. It's due to google ads

Sometimes an ad carrying malicious programming gets through; the entire site featuring the ad is regarded as an "attack page!" it's happened with a few other places I follow.

4. I got that too

I needed to some facts to back up and argument and it took me 20 minutes to get past the block.

7. What browser are you using?

It's fine for Safari on a Mac as of 5:30PM - Chrome is giving the malware warning.

9. Mac OS and using Chrome

perhaps I should quit Chrome and try another browser!

8. I got that same message, but there is (in VERY small print) at the bottom right of that banner,

a link saying "ignore this warning", which, if you click on it, will take you to the thinkprogess page.

10. I got the message when I tried to go

I have been going to thinkprogress and reading it. I do not know how it is being blocked, but there is a false report when I went I made sure to click that this is not a harmful site. If I was thinkprogress I would find out who is putting out that their site is harmful and sue them for slander. The character of the site is being harmed by these companies and I think thinkprogress has a right to defend itself from these type of liable attacks. This is character assassination on their website and I think THinkprogress should go after whoever is doing this.

P.S. I actually thought DU would show up as the same.

11. It's not under attack

An old page from a couple of years ago probably got a comment/link from some malware/spammer.

Think Progress knows about it, fixed it and is waiting for Google to re-index the page so the warning goes away.
