David Ignatius' father Paul

Today is Veteran's Day - 11.11.2020. It is also his father's 100th birthday.

Paul Ignatius served in combat aboard a Pacific Fleet aircraft carrier in WWII. He went on to be NavSec and Asst SecDef under Lyndon Johnson. His short Wikipedia page has a lot of personal accomplishments . . . including having a Navy ship named after him.

Yeah, I know . . . . Viet Nam.

I still stand in salute of him. 100 years old.
