On Wednesday, hundreds of Twitter users urged MSNBC correspondent Steve Kornacki to donate his battered necktie to the Smithsonian Institution after he revealed it was held together by a staple while he covered the presidential election.
Kornacki tweeted a photo Wednesday afternoon revealing that the seams on the back of his blue and green striped tie had come undone. It appears the television host attempted to quickly repair his tie by stapling the seams back together.
