Free advice for Romney

I get why he "can't" tout his greatest accomplishment as Massachusetts Governor (insuring 98% of its residents) - to keep the rubes from jumping ship.

But I'm almost stunned I haven't seen this picture in an ad (in 2008 either):

That was right after the ceiling collapse in the Ted Williams Tunnel. The man grabbing his arm - political appointee and head of the Turnpike Authority Matthew Amorello - was about to be fired.

Romney was actually a leader during this crisis and his popularity shot up (anectdotally speaking, but from what I remember). He was on tv a bunch, and was seen "inspecting" the tunnel, and comforting the victims' family; and then he publically gored Amorello and fired him and pointed to "what's wrong" with the way this state does business.

This was one of his few high water marks as governor. Why hasn't he run with it?
