Mitt needs a home run in tomorrow's debate. If he does not get it, two things could happen:
1) Donors might abandon his campaign during the last month before election day in order to concentrate on House and Senate races; and
2) The GOP and super PACs might wake up Nov. 7 and realize they spent two years and probably $2 billion to pick up Indiana and North Carolina (which Obama won in 2008) but lose the election.
That would be a catastrophe for the Republican Party.

(9,644 posts)he will have to start drooling down his shirt, staring blankly and utter gibberish and nonsense. It will have to be a clear breakdown of his mental faculties in order for teabaggers to start wondering if something may be amiss. They just ain't all there.
The big $$$ donors have started focusing on cutting their losses months ago. They knew r0mnbot was long shot to begin with.
