Just made my first campaign donation this year.
Miz t. and I are retired and trying to make ends meet on a very limited income.
We spent way more than we could reasonably afford on Kerry's campaign because it was so important to us that Junior NOT subject us to a second term.
That still smarts.
After that I said "Fuck it".
I'm not making another monetary campaign donation.
We just don't have the money.
We'll spend our time and effort working for Democratic candidates, but NO MORE MONEY!
And then I got the Obama's anniversary notice.
Tomorrow is their 20th anniversary.
The day of the first debate.
So we wished them well.
Mentioned that the first 20 were the hardest.
We're coming up on 44 years next April.
And sent him 15 bucks.
I'm an incurable romantic.
