Obviously the independent voters don't care that Obama's black, or else they would have already committed to Romney... so... this race-baiting is DOA. They're seriously still trying to solidify their racist base? This late in the game? What's the point? Or do they honestly think everyone in this country is as racist as they are?

His campaign is done. This is New England, race baiting has a negative effect.

to vote.

They know that many of their usually reliable base have so many issues with Money Boo Boo that they might be too disillusioned to get to the polls at all.

By provoking their most racit feelings, this sort of thing is meant to remind them that whether or not they want Romney, they really do NOT want Obama, so they should get out and vote.

Mainly I think they're hoping to get enough Rs to the vote to prevent the House and Semate races from going the way of the pesdidential race.

seniors
white suburban soccer moms
anyone who gets a little hinkey over a black man but was putting that as secondary in their vote
they are trying to bring that fear back in the forefront of voting
doubters make new votes then
they already would have to be on the fence or over to listen to this but just in case they were thinking of voting D
this ploy sez they should think again
they need these fear voters back

If Romney brings up Jeremiah Wright in the debate tomorrow, or his campaign begins talking about it following the debate. They are desperate now, and will try anything.
