I trust our President, don't you?

Over the last few days post after post of hand-wringing and worry, conjecture over deep laid plans by the Rom campaign and how they are going to go for the "Gotcha" in the debates! (EDIT: At the bottom of the post I added my post debate opinion)

Guys, he's got this. Our president plays THIS :

While Romney plays this:

The first requires having a long view and thinking 7-10 moves ahead, the other relies on having enough money to beat the odds. Right now, the GOP is giving Romney bum quarters made from outdated material and outright lies.

Yes, of course there are some elements of America that are frothing tea chuggers. BUT! It's not the majority, the majority of Americans are sick of the crap slinging and who can poke who in the eye harder. They want to know they and their families are going to be ok, they are already unsure enough and they don't want scare mongering. Most of all, they are tired and just want to be able to smile again.

I've been polled three times in the last week and a half(which is just insane), Also this is the first election I have ever been polled. To me that shows they are running scared. That's not sweat on the GOP's forehead from rolled up sleeves and hard work, thats the cold clammy sweat of desperation and fear. Desperate to remain a valid choice, and fear because the true Republicans that could actually be respected went the way of the dodo bird a while ago. What's left are the dregs, and they aren't getting any more palatable to the general public.

President Obama is a unique man, he's got a talented and empathetic wife. He and Michelle connect with John and Jane Doe on a level MR can't understand because he's a true Jerk. You can NOT connect with people if the only thing you care about is yourself. People can tell that, and will also be able to tell he's a fake in the debates. I'm not worried- I trust our President because he's genuine. He's REAL, and no matter how hard MR tries or how much money he throws away he will never, ever be able to compete with that.

I truly love our Barack and Michelle, and actually have confidence in our future again.

So hit the pavement, talk to people. Offer rides on election day Etc. and let him worry about Romney's childish attempts at oneupmanship.

JMHO

EDITED TO ADD: When I posted this, it was before the debate. After, I feel even stronger about it. The GOP's whole goal was to incite an angry response, they have to go after the Presidents likability factor because Mitt gives most people the Heebie Jeebies. Last night he showed what kind of person he is by being a total Jackass. They can spin it however they want but they can't avoid the "Damn" factor, that visceral response to dickishness. They tried to make Obama lose his temper and they failed miserably. Obama looked and behaved like a president, Romney just looked like a Jerk.
