Republicans skip around like water bugs...

Every day, they skip off in another direction, hoping they will discover something negative that will stick to their opponent. They can't seem to stay focused on any one issue for more than a day? So far, this has been the extent of the Romney campaign.

Today, they are talking about an old story from 2007 that President Obama gave at Hampton University to a black audience. They are doing their best to create something out of thin air. They start with none other than Matt Drudge, the creator of the Monica Lewinsky story. Then they pass it on to Hannity and Limbaugh and then to FOX News. They pretend it is a hot story, with huge "BREAKING" headlines. Then it falls flat.

Their desperation is ridiculously hilarious. But it is only the latest example of why they are so far behind in this campaign. Their lack of respect for the voters is clear as they feel they have no need to discuss any issues or specifics - they can win with their propaganda and bull crap. This is a primary reason the Romney campaign is a major fail.

Matthews talked about a need for the Republicans to just run on issues, not on hysteria and gaffes.

What a better world this would be if that could be so.
