Curfew from 10pm to 5am for 21 days.
Gee I hope the Proud Boys get involved here to free Ohio from such oppression.

(14,856 posts)I prefer to go outside when there's typically few others for me to encounter. Now it's like, "No, only go out when you're more likely to encounter others who are infected!"
I'm glad this thread was created because I didn't know about it until reading it! Then I looked for details, and it indeed affects not just retailers. Residents are supposed to stay indoors during those hours too!
It would be extremely ironic for me to get in trouble during this pandemic! I've been super-careful and basically quarantined myself for months! I haven't even walked inside businesses*, ordering everything with pick-up / curbside orders. I can just imagine one of the more fascist cops around here saying something like, "You're the reason people are getting sick and dying, you piece of shit!" (Lol.)
* Mostly true. There were a few occasions when I had to go inside places, like the post office.

It wouldn't surprise me if this is a way to give the worker's comp people a break. They're supposed to report businesses who don't enforce masking among their employees OR the customers. A warning the first time, and temporary shut-downs thereafter. That was a very recent change in Ohio.
But potentially causing trouble for someone like me who wants to walk/exercise outside at night? Seems silly.

(16,201 posts)I'm in an old subdivision from the 1950s out in the middle of nowhere. I typically come across no one while walking at night. I honestly consider it safer than the day time when it comes to COVID-19 since no-one else is out.

(14,856 posts)... updated their story about it! It previously indicated that residents had to remain indoors too, but now it says people can't be seen congregating during those hours!
