does the law require that his lifetime Secret Service protection accompany him?
Did the law anticipate this possibility? I can't tell.

I don't imagine that the Congress ever considered the possibility that a former PRESIDENT could be convicted of a crime.

(20,631 posts)we'll be looking at some kind of "Spandau Prison" situation, where he's the only one there. Probably a "Club Fed", with three holes of golf, etc.

(32,777 posts)You know, stay at home, minimal outside contact, and wear an ankle bracelet. I can't imagine any judge would ever put him in a state or federal prison. The Secret Service guys should not be required to be his prison guards, in any case. They didn't sign up for anything like that.
