why they need to vote in the GA senate election: It was like watching a walrus trying to fuck a beach ball. It's so awkward. https://www.thedailybeast.com/does-trump-really-want-republicans-to-win-in-georgia?via=newsletter&source=BI-mid-week-digest
Yes, I know we are supposed to hate Rick Wilson because he used to be a Republican; but damn, he's funny.

(10,176 posts)helping Republicans get elected he won't be our ally any more. Until then I'm happy for his support.

(23,337 posts)I listen to his podcast that he hosts with Molly Jong-Fast. Sometimes I don't like what he says about Dems but, he's usually correct.

(145 posts)I would pay to watch trump and a beachball, but it might be difficult to tell which was which.

(17,989 posts)But also an enemy I can respect, if not like. Trump, his spawn and his hangers on, on the other hand, are vermin. And vermin need to be exterminated.

(754 posts)I agree with the sentiment. I'd prefer to think of these people as opponents, not enemies. That gives everybody the flexibility they need.

(17,989 posts)goes back to the days of W, Reagan and papa Bush, when we could use it more loosely. Back when the idea of their loyalty to the country and democracy in general was never in question. All that's changed now and old habits die hard I guess. One thing I do look forward to is getting back into the old fights with our enem...opponents. When losing was a bummer, but not an existential threat to the republic.

(9,145 posts)It's a horrible person like Sen. Ron Johnson who is the POS.
The Republican senator also criticized the anti-Trump conservative groups like The Lincoln Project and Republican Voters Against Trump describing members of those types of groups as "money-grubbing pieces of s**t" despite the Trump campaign forming new political action committees (PACs) to raise funds for his post-election legal battle and other purposes.

(17,989 posts)you can have a few drinks with, tell jokes and have a great time. And then be at each other's throat politically from 9 to 5. I miss those days. We didn't know how good we really had it back then.
