California Megachurch Pastor Who Eschewed All COVID Regulations Dies Quickly of COVID
We have made a special point to never wish ill upon anyone. We made it clear that we hoped that Trump returned to work quickly once he was diagnosed with COVID and such beliefs remain our firm...

I'm fat myself and I'm not talking shit. I have diabetes, too, so I've been extra careful since the beginning of the pandemic.

but the fatal condition was his refusal to believe in the fact-based world, as opposed to (only) the spiritual.

We’re all in exactly the same boat but maybe half of us choose to believe science. Ignorance at this point is just willful.

Its pastors had been among those leading the call for houses of worship to reopen in May with the church's founder and senior pastor, Dan Carroll, insisting that congregants remain safe with social distancing and other health precautions.

'Here at Water of Life, we believe that God is bigger than the coronavirus,' stated Carroll at the time, according to Fontana News.

I always want them to get good and sick as a lesson for others, but then recover. Especially nice guys like this whose judgement falls far short of need.

“We were hoping he was turning for the good, but things went very bad very quickly today,” Lori Bryant said in her post. “He has bilateral aggressive COVID pneumonia, suffered a silent heart attack and is having some kidney issues. They had to put him on a ventilator immediately.”

She also talked about how traumatic it was not being able to see a loved one in the hospital.

“Even when he was having trouble breathing he said, ‘Tell everyone I love them and I’ll see them when I wake up,’” Lori Bryant wrote, pleading for urgent prayer from the congregation.

At least they believe he lives on.

Some of the COVID deniers might start a conspiracy theory that he was killed by the "deep state". There is no conspiracy too absurd for some of these kooks. I'm afraid some of them are going to just get worse and worse. It is some kind of mass derangement epidemic.

"God. I believed in you. I prayed to You that thing whole thing be a hoax, and that if it isn't, You would protect me. Why did You let this happen?"

God: I sent you a news report of a deadly, fast-spreading disease. I sent you face masks and encouragement for you to wear them. And I sent you doctors, nurses, virologists, and research scientists, who care about human life, wanted you to survive the pandemic, and knew what they were talking about. I answered your prayer. Why didn't you listen? Why are you even here?"
