A fascinating aspect of Donnie's pathology is the need to be vindictive to imperfect loyalty

Such as the possibility that he may fire Barr.

Not that it matters too much, they're both gone in 7 weeks anyway. But Barr saved Donnie's bacon and has been exactly the kind of crooked loyal toadie Donnie wants all his people to be.

But he didn't back him on the latest nonsense of the day, so he's royally pissed and may fire him for that.

Now look at what's going on regarding the hugely important Georgia senate runoffs. Republicans, seemingly with Donnie's blessings, are actually advocating self-sabotage by encouraging republicans to boycott the runoffs, which could cost them the senate.

Seems like a ridiculous political strategy, but remember, personal vengeance is more important to donnie than a good outcome for the Republican Party. In fact, he probably wants the story that Republican lost the senate because they didn't find a way to get Donnie another 4 years.

He's pissed about losing and needs to make someone pay. There's nothing special about being angry with democrats, so he's going to lash out against republicans.

It would be wonderful if his petulance cost them the senate!

djt has to be plotting a humiliating a humiliating end to Barr's position as attorney general. his tweet will almost write itself.

I don't know how djt will let Barr's comments stand? I predict it's going to be a below the belt tweet firing.

Really want I'd love is for America to strongly support democrats with large majorities for at least a generation, as we did starting with fdr. But we seem a ways off from that.

But for now, I'll settle for Donnie being the instrument of at least short term damage to the Republican Party.

Who knows, this may be the beginning of a split in the party or other long-term damage. *that* would be great.

I hope I'm wrong. I'd love to see him fed to the sharks, although, actually, jettisoned by this one might be a slightly redeeming dot on that cv.

Barr seems to be one of the few actual sentient beings the yam allows in his circle, given how foreign such a quality is in his family and inner cult.

You'd think that would have been a non-starter for the yellow ass, but it wasn't.

Those GA senate seats are desperately needed!

T**** wants revenge on the whole world, not just people who fail his "standard of loyalty." Neither he, nor his rotten snot-nosed children give a single shit about any one specific person who crosses them. It makes no difference who, or in what capacity, or in any conceivable circumstance. The only thing that matters to them is getting their revenge.
