Do people who think a limerick is poetry, and if they hum the theme music to Masterpiece theater means they have 'culture' and hence dooming places like the Kennedy Center for the Arts to the skim milk of the arts?
Can Biden replace them or at least even out their influence with better people?
I'm confused by the frequent announcements of his appointments lately, is it all for show? .. so these folks can add being on the board to their CV?

1. No. They have a term and because Trump is only now getting around to filling, they will

be around for some time. Obviously, others on the same boards (with staggered terms) will come up for replacement, but we will be stuck with most of Trump's garbage picks for some time.

Yes they have a set term. But in some instances if the term expires, the current appointee can stay on until a replacement is appointed. The replacement then only serves whatever amount of time is left since the prior term expired. So even where a position has a five year term, an appointmee may have less than that if the position has been vacant or in holdover status for a period of time before the appointment.

so, they will largely remain throughout Biden's term. Others (staggered terms) will come up for Biden to fill, but we will be stuck with these Trumpsters for some time.

6. Pretty standard situation

For example, Obama made over 120 appointments in the final three weeks of his presidency. Obviously, many of those appointments filled vacancies that had existed before they were filled. Indeed, he filled eight of the 12 slots on the Fulbright Scholarship Board in those three weeks, but most of those appointments served only for a year or two before their terms expired and Trump named their replacements. In other instances, Obama appointees resigned before their term expired and Trump's replacement will serve less than full term. For example, Sarah Huckabee Sanders was named to the Fulbright board in October 2019, but her term will expire this coming September and Joe can replace her.

Similarly, Obama filled 17 spots on the Holocaust Museum council between January 1, 2017 and inauguration day, even though only 11 spots expire each year.
