Physical labor is violence

Sure I wanted in on the new trend declaring something is something else - who doesn't want that? But in all seriousness if you can declare something is violent based on side effects and root causes then you have to put PHYSICAL LABOR on that list.

Physical labor has brought the world slavery, human trafficking, child labor more than any other activity.

I don't mean this as a calling out of another post - but with hundreds of posts (and even a few rec's) in those other threads...I didn't want this point lost in the masses.

and just in case this offends anyone - IBTL

But unfortunately, your method of making this point is, imo, a poor choice and poor judgement. Possibly adding fuel to an already painful and heated debate.

But to address your point, I would say that considering people as commodities of any kind is violence. It is all human trafficking: Physical labor, prostitution, child labor and chid sex.

To one degree or another, the 1% is trying to buy us all and wear us down into degradation, poverty and finally, death when all our usefulness is gone

unfortunately I do get in my own way. I get frustrated with an issue and use comedy (or at least attempt to) to claw my way through it.

Exploiting someone for sex. Exploiting someone for labor. Exploiting someone's creativity.

All are exchanges of money for acts people wouldn't otherwise do. When your capacity for selling those services is exhausted, your human worth is minimal.
