What a year....goodbye 2020. Happy New Year, DU!
I am dreaming of a summer Caprese salad as we anticipate a deluge of rain tomorrow. It's been a bizarre year - we've loved our move to the NC mountains, our small 60s brick ranch, adding rescue dog 3. We've been agonized daily by trump and the trumpers. We've missed seeing our girls. 2020 to my wife and I will be celebrating our 40th in our typical low key way (just being thankful to have found each other), the many hikes we took in nearby forests, and our best garden ever, with 63 home canned quarts of tomatoes and lots of lunches like the one pictured, as we tasted our tomatoes.
Here's to a MUCH better 2021, all! Here's to Joe and Kamala getting around to start to fix so much that has been broken. Here's to the media allowing trump to just go away, forgetting their obsession with him, and stopping the "both sides do it" bullshit!
Mostly here's to all of you - DU once again was THE place to be to get information and make me feel better (or at least informed).
