These refreshing and soothing photos are just what I need to start the New Year. I hope you
enjoy them too.

One photo is captioned as being the Sluch river so being curious I set out to find out where it is.
(I often do this.) I found out Sluch is the English for the name of the Sluc in the local language. The Sluch/Sluc is a tributary of the Pripyat/Pripiat River (I've seen both spellings) that flows through
Ukraine and Belarus. I didn't find a map location for the Sluch/Sluc but did find the location of the
Pripyat/Pripiat. It's a very healing process for me to do these things and if we all need one thing
these days it's healing!
