Got a notification from my bank at 5:36, this morning. My stimulus money was deposited!

2. I'm keeping a weather eye out on the situation, that's for sure!!

Fortunately, I have no place to be until Monday afternoon so I'm settling in for the duration. I might even spend some time plotting out my flower and veg gardens!

3. Good idea. The ice totals for Lansing keep going up. First

it was .09" now it's crept up to .25". I hate ice storms. I'm gonna hunker down, too, and hope the power doesn't go out. At least there isn't supposed to be much wind with it and I gassed up my car so I can at least charge my phone if the power does go out. I always worry about my fish and frogs when that happens. But I'll keep a positive attitude and will insulate the tank with those NASA blankets if the power does go out. Planning a garden sounds like a lovely way to spend the day!

4. I feel the same about ANY mention of ice.

After my experience in 2013, it's a sure PTSD trigger.

I'll just keep the candles handy and bring in some more firewood from the garage. If worse comes to worse, I have a generator. All I care about is keeping the basement dry and the food cold or frozen. During that week long outage in 2013 my house was so cold I didn't lose ANYTHING from the kitchen refrigerator because I never opened it. You could see your breath in every part of the house except for the den which is where the fireplace is located. I didn't give the garage freezer a passing thought since, well, it was in the garage.

The week of 1/4). I am not sure the account is open. It had a charge off but still shows up when I log in as $0 balance.
