Happy New Year.

I remember we used to jump in the leaf piles as children and how much fun it was. The simple joys of childhood! (sigh!)

(32,664 posts)Buddy does exactly the same thing. He loves piles of leaves.
After jumping around for a few minutes, he goes Number 2.

(9,651 posts)But what does he do during spring and summer, when all the leaves are on the trees?
Best part was seeing just his tail wagging, while the rest of his body was buried in the leaves.

(63,221 posts)Not to be picky, but it seems like most people always think dogs are male, especially larger dogs. Since we have three large female dogs in our extended family, I have gotten kind of sensitive to people calling them "he".

And I don't want to upset anybody. You or the doggy!
