My DU resolutions for 2021.

Henceforth I will ask myself the following questions before I recommend or reply to an OP-

Who is saying this?

What do I know about this poster?

Where is this supposed to have happened? When?

What facts do they provide to support what they say?

Why should I believe them?

Does the poster interact with other DUers who reply to them, or just post and vanish?

Your comments and suggestions are welcome.

Great policy! The only drawback is that you wasted time and your post will be farther down the page. Towlie Jan 2021 #2

I know back in the bUsh years we had a lot of trolls trying to rile everyone up. IS that happening again do you think?

Or are you simply trying to make your own interactions better and keep your blood pressure down by not getting triggered unnecessarily?

MY DU resolution is more along the lines of giving everyone a break and not going overboard on my replies.
I know I've been stressed and don't want to be a part of the problem, more of a solution.
I've vented a lot - needed to and most people get that, but I hope to be better in 2021.

I like to find the facts for people when they ask about something because a long time ago people did that for me.

These days if someone asks, it seems like DUers in general act like middle school teacher and say, "Look it up" but that's ok.
Like a google search takes too long. LOL Or verifying on SNOPES or POLITICO.

And say, hell to the yeah.

Some fascinating OPs lately. At least it gives us all some amusement.

Have you been seeing fake posts lately, or fake posters?
Maybe there's a reason why you'd question a DUer's motive for posting something.
I don't know but I find this unsettling. The MIR Team is working hard and keeping us safe.
Right?!
