Lin Wood successfully sued CNN, Washington Post and other media and Nicholas Sandmann made a ton of money. Even he is now questioning his attorney. How can this be the same attorney? 51/50

Or he had a lot of stressors and is now having an acute episode.
Or perhaps drug use making it all worse.

(7,947 posts)Sounds like he's been having an "episode" for years. Told them he's the second coming.
It's always hard to tell the Trump grift from the Trump lunacy.

(47,471 posts)Yes sounds like he has been pretty crazy for some time now.
Right, hard to tell if we are looking at con artists (sociopaths) or psychosis.
Or both.
I did these kinds of evaluations for over 40 years when I was working.
But Trump's minions have more twists and turns than an Agatha Christie novel.

(14,118 posts)also known as anti-psychotics. However, the patient must be willing to accept and be compliant with
treatment. One thing that's often overlooked is that an overactive thyroid can cause manic symptoms and that's easily corrected with medication or surgery.
I'd urge Lin to schedule a full physical work-up and choose his best option. Unfortunately, once a
person is in the psychotic mania stage they'll resist until a 3d party like a doctor or judge intervenes.
Been there, done that, never ran for office or became a household name. But I did recover nicely.

(41,991 posts)Q feeds into a common characteristic that people having serious mania or psychosis (and that has levels of severity) have. It sees patterns where there are none and encourages leaps of logic that have no basis in actual reality. I saw one of Woods tweets where he featured a photo of Pompeo, his most recent obsession, in a WH meeting and was all excited about connecting the dots about the paintings on the wall. Hes moved on to some minor actors suicide (apparently also having had a W-related break if his FB suicide note, also quoted by Wood, is any indication) and some genuinely florid commentary about Epstein, pedophiles, the whole hand basket.
He needs attention. Hes got lives in his hands.

Time for him to be hospitalized.

(41,991 posts)I assume they could lay down the law on the wisdom of his statements and maybe look into his history. Theres some chance hes doing the Im building my future base bullshit but if thats it hes astoundingly stupid and full of hubris thinking he can casually say such things without repercussions.
Hes such a public figure hed have a hard time acting out on those comments but someone else could certainly do real harm if they are genuinely as florid as he seems and doesnt have an eye on them. Its reprehensible action at best. Seems to be going around.

(50,566 posts)Why is it we can't get one when we need it? What do they have, something like a library card system? Check out a guillotine for two weeks, do all your guillotining with it, and return it in the same shape it was in when you got it?
