do you think you (and also other people in general) will continue taking precautions such as wearing a mask in certain situations, and if so, what would those situations be?
For instance, do you think that you and/or many other people will....
mask up during flu and cold season when shopping or attending indoor concerts & sports events?
shake hands and hug friends as much as you used to?
eat a slice of pizza that your second cousin hands to you with his bare hands?
smoke the same joint with a buddy?
book that cruise you were planning just before the pandemic hit?
carpool as much as you used to?
Or do you think most people will forget just how bad things were and go back to the way things were before the pandemic?

(26,298 posts)I full intend to remain vigilant. Vaccination boosters, staying out of big crowds, and carrying a mask with me, for the time being. I'll even put off dining out unless I can do it al fresco. And DEFINITELY wearing a mask on any sort of public transportation. I sometimes wonder if I'll ever feel comfortable taking a flight anywhere, ever again.

But I think most pre-pandemic stuff will come back eventually.

(2,337 posts)I will likely continue using masks. I bought a million, might as well use them.

(27,840 posts)I live in Seattle and ride the bus. Actually, wearing a mask on transit is not that unusual here. There are a lot of people from Asia, where it's much more culturally acceptable, and it's been a common sight on buses and at the airport for years.
