Where public health is concerned, maybe we should be keeping track of favoritism based on

party affiliation? The distribution of vaccines is just one way to exploit the system. What happens when we're looking at potential conscription again and they start talking about local boards manned with the good buddies and gals, to decide whose kids are going to the front, and what kids are going to the front of the line in their privileged fiefdoms?

With all this information pointing to the fact that the vaccine distribution is going to those with connections, maybe it's time to map out the networks that control our communities?

It's not just connected civilians who can potentially abuse the process. I know in my county, that some of the government employees think they have a leg up, because the positions in local government gives them access to what is going on in their communities. I've observed how their children have moved in and out of departments as if they can do no wrong, because they know all the "right" people. I grew up on a military/civilian base and this is directly the opposite of what it was like for us.

So, maybe it's time to really take a look at our local communities to see just how far these social networks have skewed the process.
