Raffensperger: 'Perdue Should Apologize To My Wife' For Death Threats

Raffensperger on Fox: ‘Perdue Should Apologize To My Wife’ For Death Threats

In another chapter of drama unfolding in the final week of Georgia’s Senate runoff elections, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger called out Sen. David Perdue on Fox News for demanding his resignation, which he said led to death threats towards his family.

"Perdue still owes my wife an apology for all the death threats she got after he asked for my resignation,” he said. “I have not heard one peep from that man since. If he wants to call me, face to face, man to man, I'll talk to him, off the record. But he hasn't done that."

Raffensperger also refused to apologize or back down from Perdue’s statements, in which he said Raffensperger’s leak of his conversation with President Trump was “disgusting.”

We know he voted for the Republicans in the general election.

Until recently, he still claimed he didn't regret voting for Trump. I wonder how he'd now justify voting for a president he had to publicly expose as a liar and criminal.

If he goes on a Sunday Talk Show, MSNBC, or CNN. Fox would never ask that question.

He had lots of likely-Democratic voters removed from the voter rolls illegally. See https://www.gregpalast.com/stealing-georgia-raffensperger-is-no-hero/ .

I know he's a repuke often criticized for implementing voter purges, but he seems to be taking the role of election enforcement seriously.

A public spat over principle between Republicans. Rare indeed.

In a broader sense, when did death threats over everything become the norm? I don't recall this in 2000, or 2012. It's an escalation of rhetoric because everyone knows the crazies could actually follow through on such threats.

Unfortunately, I was falling sleep at the moment she referred to them, but what I heard was that she thought they were only defending the process that they had implemented, kind of dismissing they were doing it out of principle alone.

She mentioned about the voter suppression that Kemp and Raffensperger have done the last two years...Here is the link to the interview:
