About the post offices across Georgia where ballots may be sleeping in corners across the state. I wish there were inspectors sweeping through every PO in the state. Its so disturbing that this country is fraying.

(4,757 posts)we were driving by and I was making crying balling faces mocking them and one dick shouts back at me
"You will be the one crying after Jan 6th libtard"
The next 48 hours are going to be interesting.

(54,770 posts)First off, I think most voters were smart enough not to wait until the last minute. Second, there are lots of drop boxes in Georgia and people are smart enough to use them if possible. Third, polls have been open for several weeks. Fourth, Democrats have been encouraging people to not wait until the last minute or run risk of ballots not arriving on time.
I think we are good in that respect. Now whether Georgia has turned sufficiently Blue to achieve Senate wins, I'm not sure. trump was so bad, even some rubes couldn't vote for him.
Whatever, we are in this thing at this point with a real chance to win, and that's a big improvement over past decades.

I feel as though it was all a big show to let Reeps in GA
know that their ballots would count... since there was
some messaging telling them to stay home and that it
was a rigged election.
Now I fear they will vote en masse.
