Trump's got cops, Nazis, and the National Guard chasing after him. And the only thing left after that is performing his MAGA stunt for a prison crowd.

It's no wonder they expect to get away with it every time.

No consequences.

7. How could an impeachment possibly be accomplished between now and noon on January 20?

After that time, trump would be out of office and out of the hands of the House and Senate.

Just bring it up for a vote in the House to make the statement, even if it fails.

It's the message it sends that counts.

You know, so many Americans just think we're weak. I'd love to see that perception change.

15. You can impeach him after he leaves office.

Then you can make it so he can not run for President again in 2024 -- or any other office. It would be well worth it.

pretty soon all you will see is the remains of our Republic. Nixon was a crook, got impeached but pardoned. Reagan was the worst thing ever for the working class, and had over 130 investigations, indictments or convictions in his administration. Along with a number of scandals, Iran-Contra being one of them. He is now deified. G.W. Bush and his whole administration should have been dragged to the Hague for war crimes. Free pass there too. Also Bush crashed the economy, no bankers went to jail, no politicians held accountable, and Obama said we need to look forward. Trump has bent, broken or shattered so many rules of decorum, traditions and laws, now we are going to pat him on the back, see him out the door and let him walk.

Every time there is a Republican President the United States takes two steps backward towards being a Banana Republic. Our heels are hanging over the cliff's edge now. No matter what happens under Biden, the next Republican President will be even more authoritarian than Trump, and he will be smarter (no challenge there). The GOP is chock full of RWNJ's that are not going away. Letting them off the hook when they misstep is not only wrong, it is dangerous. They need to be punished.

The "Hatch Act" is supposed to be honored. Kelly Ann Conway broke that rule a couple of dozen times. When asked by a reporter about breaking the "Hatch Act" she merely said " what are they going to do, throw me in Hatch Act jail. That is their mind set, keep breaking rules until they get busted for them, but they never do. And they do not get their just desserts after they lose power, we just let it slide which keeps bringing them back for more and worse.

If he were to be convicted, he couldn't run for Pres in 2024. This would make it worth it.

We stopped torturing people, using mercenaries to commit war crimes, closed the concentration camp at Guantanamo, the guilty were made to feel real bad for their part in the atrocities, and everyone joined hands to sing kumbayah and forswear lawless governance forever.

No reason not to do it again.
