I think the debate would have been much different if ...


... if the first 20 minute segment had not been spent on trickle-down and taxes.

If the first topic out of the shoot had been about Women's Rights (equal pay, reproduction rights, etc) or Immigration/Dream Act or ANYTHING ELSE,
then the tone of the debate would have been different and it wouldn't have started out so damn BORING.

I understand that the debate's focus was supposed to be on domestic policy but starting right off the bat with TAXES was the wrong way to go, imo.

Myself, I'd like to see a sperm whale vs a giant squid. That would be a real contest and much different than Wednesday's debate.

Too bad that none of this countrafactus is in anyway helpful in understanding of what happened Wednesday night.

Let it go. We move on.
