Whither Mitch?

So many questions on this momentous day.
The first being, have we seen the last of McConnell leadership? Will he be relegated to the position of senior senator from Kentucky? If so, who will replace him as senate minority leader? Will republicans choose a MAGAt or someone with less of an obstruction hard-on?
The next election begins today. If Democrats become complacent, could Mitch be back in power in 2 years?

Even if that's the worse that happens to him, it's still pretty bad.

Good questions and I don't know the answer, but Dems should resist any role for him at all. The Republicans are having to show who and what they are for now that their Orange Illusion has finally burst, so that will be interesting. I think Hawley is making a big play for leadership one way or another.

Rights Act. It is going to be a busy 2 years in the states run by them.

The SCOTUS already blew up the VRA in 2013 when they threw out Section 4 (which made Section 5 moot).

If anything, we need to restore Section 4, using this past year's election nightmare as Exhibit #1, which showcases all the ways that states engaged in voter suppression and election fraud, all in collusion with the President of the United States.

Like the fairy tale villain he is. Remember he calls himself the Grim Reaper? When people tell you who they are, believe them.
