The pardons can also be revoked, which should be among the first things Biden does, assuming any are issued.

And all who fall under that are under a pardon (I don't know if the Vietnam pardons were ever challenged so ultimately it would be up to the Supreme Court if the case ever got to them).

Just like the pardon for those who avoided the Vietnam draft or participated in the Whiskey rebellion.

I would not put it past him. I bet if you dig deep enough in social media you will find where these rioters were told about that.

Do some folks have to worry?

I can't even begin to know what the courts would decide. So far they have been pretty good, but do we want to take away the President's ability to issue such a mass general pardon in the future?

I don't think, given what happened today, a court would rule that the president's pardon power extends to preemptive general pardons of people who engaged in insurrection at the direction of the president.
