The GOP is in Full-On Loser Mode, So Let's Bury Them All In Anvils

The GOP is in Full-On Loser Mode, So Let's Bury Them All In Anvils

by LeftHandedMan

So. We had the first Presidential debate. Obama frankly didn't do very well, but no fatal errors. He's a calm and measured man whose opponent is an unprincipled sociopath who wants a promotion he's been seeking his entire life. Not being achored to math, or what you said the day before, is liberating. A lot of folks freaked out. A lot of previously bored Villagers got erect.
Some members of the GOP were so excited that they began rhetorically masturbating in public.

Then, we woke up to the real 2012 election. Again.

The one that wasn't ever going to stop because of the Non-Rumble in the Rockies.

The one where some of the biggest and most obvious long game walk-aways from that admitted mess of a debate would be good for Obama. Like the fact that more voters (and some wanker Villagers alike) would notice that Rock-em-Sock-em Romney is still a massive pathological liar, still a smarmy BMOC bullyboy, and still a total fratboy jerk who really said that he was actually going to go after Big Bird at one point. We have a 'never gonna be WWE ready' Democratic President who still cares more about the little guy than the Republican empty suit and a majority of the people still know this. We are back to the 2012 election where legendary own-goaling blowhard idiots like ex-Gov. John Sununu smugly go on camera and drool that the first African-American President is "lazy" (before implying he's also stupid) and make negative headlines for his ticket in the process of doing it. 1980? More like 1988. America's demographics have changed in the last two decades, GOPerLanders. Mitt Romney might have buried Mike Dukakis in 1988 with this shit, but he's not going to bury Barack Obama in 2012 with it.

Oh, and then? Well, the new job numbers came in.

Cue the 'no matter what' canned faux RW outrage.

The Big Bad Number slipped blow 8.0% because things are getting better even though this painful recovery has been as slow as shit due to Rightwing obstructionism from day one. What a shock this better news went over so poorly. The GOP has now, and has been for four years, routing for America to fail for their ideological and political gain. This was the point when the already-high-on-their-own-supply Right suddenly remembered who they were again and tore their still ill-fitting cheap 'winners' masks right the fuck back off. What a surprise that some big name debate victory-lapping idiots put down the cheap champagne and went into openly batshit ragegasm crazy cheap whiskey mode. Hacks so automatically conditioned to go stupid as to be stupid enough to say, on the record, that the improving job numbers data that followed Romney's "Great March Into Rome" were bogus. No, not just bogus, not just wrong, but totally engineered leftist propaganda stupid. Who claims that a better employment figure is automatically a Democratic conspiracy inside the Labor Bureau to get a good number for the President and fuck with their (diet) coke party high? Losers. That's who. This is exactly what losers do.

This is who they are now. This is what they do now. This is exactly why we can win big.

Winners don't need to glom onto a faux BLS "scandal" if a "debate triumph" is a triumph.

Funny how the "massive in-house Democratic conspiracy" at "Obama's BLS" to rig the statistics only cropped up now that the numbers aren't useful to the GOP. Hilda Solis suddenly a Bond Villainess? Please. Spare me, Wingnuts. Because harshing the GOP's mellow over a transient moment in a campaign certainly trumps all other considerations? Right. That makes so much sense. One Huge Problem though. The Right has spent the entire Obama administration absolutely loving the stats that come from the Federal Government on employment. They were dead on gospel, in fact. But that was when they were so negative and could be useful to attack the President. Now? Not so useful, so, must be FRAUD!!!!! You have to ask yourself, how fucking delusional do Rightwingers have to be to believe this shit? To buy, at the same time, that all liberals are both ruthless and cold assassins and scared and easily spooked cowards, brilliantly nefarious conspirators and stupid myopic incompetents? The answer is: delusional enough that you think you can get away with never having to think about anything twice.

The Right is addicted to loserball. They didn't even last 24 hours after their "big win".

This is the 2012 race that existed before Wednesday, and the 2012 race that still exists now.

This is the most important election in my lifetime, and for the GOP it's a big national clusterfuck.

Forget big. Let's make it a really historic clusterfuck.

Now is the time to remember all of it. Everything. Every moment of the malignant and destructive Obstructionism, the vicious townhall disruptions, the blatant lies, the rampant false equivalencies, the unceasing assaults on the middle class, and the insanely dangerous fiscal hostage taking. To remember the professionally printed racist signs all over the Tea Party rallies that were ignored or waved away, and the smearing of those who dared to bring them up as 'serial exaggerators' and 'dishonest partisans' who "falsely" and "recklessly" pointed out nothing less than blatant racists practicing blatant racism. The bought and paid for smiling young conservative activists who took voter registrations always intending to only register the Republicans and throw out the Democratic ones. The goons at the minority polling sites challenging people of color's vote. The closing of Democratic and minority community polling sites by hack Republican pols, all while the Right screeched about ACORN and how poor and working middle class black people were rigging elections left and right and that rich and richer white Republicans couldn't trust they actually have a free and fair vote. This is the election day to vote with an unrepentantly large chip resting on your shoulder. The Right earned a wave. From the 2010 triumphantism when the traditional media joined with the Right to push our faces in the shit like bad dogs to the austerity demands at ideological gunpoint.

We should remember it all.

Including the latest WTF wankery of 'the Non-Rumble in the Rockies'.

We should remember all the conventional wisdom pimps in the Village who said that the Democrats were going to vote Obama, but that it would be done so, so reluctantly. Downticket candidates were fucked. Citizen's United would be the frosting on the sure Democratic Party shitcake of fail. That even we would be effected, we being all the activists and the champions of the little guys and the working class. Even we would vote reluctantly and without pride or intent. They said that while we might show up, probably, we'd all be in line embarassed, or ashamed, or dejected and divided and that we'd march glumly and half-heartedly walk away from out drudgery at the polls like grim-faced losers. Voting in uncertain numbers but with a certain to be profound lack of enthusiasm. The Senate was surely gone. Don't even bother to dream. Don't even bother because the Democrats would be lucky, damned motherfucking lucky, if Obama won. He might win by losing the popular vote but won the electoral college on election day, but at least, at the very best, you'd have that and you'd like it as a Democratic voter.

The same crap that came up again after Obama's rough night because they want it to be so.

This is the time to bury them.

The Movement Conservative Right and their Conventional Wisdom Pimp enablers. From Steve Wynn, Sheldon Adelson, and the Koch Brothers, to CNN, Politico, and Newsweak. Let's do what we did back in 2006 and 2008 and show them some math.

The GOP being crushed under the combined weight of hostile demographic shifts being married to a White Elephant of a losing top tier is a breathtaking opportunity. We can really hurt them.

Here's something to think about:

'47% of the public think of themselves as victims.' 'It's not my job to worry about those people.' 'The polls are all skewed, so we have made up new ones that are un-skewed'. 'We have already addressed "the legitimate rape" issue.' 'Actually, our unavailable internal polls show that the race is tied across the board, trust us.' 'I'm the one to do away with Medicare and Medicaid.' 'We are doing better in the swingstates that the media is saying.' 'Ohio is deadlocked.' 'I care about the 100%.' 'You know she's not an indian, I can tell she's white just by looking at her'. 'Mitt Romney is softening his image with the public.' 'Social Security needs a sunset provision.' 'The campaign is always in flux.' 'Mitt's re-tooling.' 'Dick Morris says....' 'Jewish voters might be ready to walk away from Obama over Netanyahu.' The President is running a historically negative and dishonest campaign'. 'The liberals are throwing the blacks under the bus for the Hispanics because they never cared about the blacks at all'. 'Ryan? Uh. ROM-ney RY-an! ROM-ney RY-an! ROM-ney RY-an! ROM-ney RY-an. Got it? Ok.' 'Oh, Sweet..... Jesus.' 'President Obama is the one who is desperate.' 'We haven't given up on re-taking the Senate'. 'Feminism, I believe, is what is making men's penises 10% smaller.' 'The liberal media is trying to suppress the Republican vote'. 'I reject the behavior of some members of my staff and campaign, but the real offensive thing is...' 'Obama's foreign policy is our real concern'. 'They said the Libyan embassy attack was about that film, and now it's a terrorism'? 'We don't think that the House is in play at all.' 'She was more lady-like in 2006'. 'Paul Ryan needs to be unleashed'. 'Mitt should bring back the White Board'. 'He needs to embrace turning this nation back to torture'. 'I'm going to fire Big Bird'. 'Everything I've said prior to the debate? forget about it. 'The President is lazy'. 'There is no debate prep that can overcome being stupid'. 'That 47% thing? Ah, forget about it.' 'The Democrats faked the job numbers.'

This isn't all of it, just the most recent stuff.

This is loserball. 100% Grade A total loserball.

What a bunch of paper elephants. What a bunch of over-pampered political phantasms that nobody, especially no Democrat, should ever fear again. They need a rigged game.

They have dozens of thinktanks, talk radio, wingnut welfare rags, a cable channel, pundits that are always invited to Sunday Morning gassers and basic cable shows, wingnut fishwraps from the WSJ to the New York Post to the Washington Times. They even have a cadre of Billionaires and hundreds and hundreds of staffers and bootlicks and pollsters on speed dial. They castrated the Village into a gentle false balance-fixated herd of geldings that has been so completely broken and well-trained that it is a bigger sin in their ranks to call a liar a liar than to actually be a liar. Let's not forget that the Supreme Court even gave them an anonymous motherfucking blank check machine, and they have spent the last few years building a voter disenfranchisement machine to deny non-Republican voters the right to vote for partisan gain.

And they needed a last-minute out-of-chances debate win, a fast dissolving piece of candy moment in a long campaign, to get so, so excited about going forward?

They are a total sham, and they need people to be afraid of them to stay on top.

The Tell was that they went immediately right back to conspiracy theory freak-out mode even before the Great Sunday Gasbaggers could even give them all their free "Romney Won" blowjob. Birthers? Meet the Jobbers. AKA Debate Meme Killers. AKA Fail. The Own-Goal Society On Fire!

It's simple. The whole fucking Movement Conservative machine is ten thousand heads crammed up one giant Borg collective asshole. They are a fucking sham. A fucking sham that has been such a total and absolute myth-making success for so long, that they all actually believe that their sham is actually something vastly more substantive and stout. They are totally high on their own supply and dealing with any downside that comes of it by amping up their collective intake of pure ideological nose candy.

Is it any wonder they are glomming onto an 'unskewed polling' movement?

They have to.

The nation isn't as completely enslaved to the whims of angry resentful white people and low information voters anymore, and they are drowing in their own stubborn refusal to recognize the obvious and clearly ominous slow-moving epic fail. This is why you don't freak out over "October Surprises" or one bad debate showing. The GOP is in full-on loser mode with every advantage and slanted playing field you can think of having, except the facts, good policy options, and the future in your hands.

Time to take a big step towards not just re-electing Obama but towards ending their reign of error and terror. All other in-house business, concerns, disagreements, and bitter disputes to be put off until the day after election day. Obama winning is just the baseline, and the ceiling off that foundation can't be high enough.

Sucks for the Right that it has spent a generation telling everybody outside of it's ex-key demographic groups to go fuck themselves and die in a fire.

But not my fucking problem. I say we throw them all two anvils and a fiery anchor at this point. Be ruthless. Think of 2010, every painful second of it, and don't hesitate to pour it on. They have it coming. The nation deserves better than them, and there is no reason that this shouldn't be a Democratic wave election.

Personally, I was hoping that President Barack Obama would politically step on Mitt Romney's neck and twists his foot last Wednesday. For all they have done to cripple the engine of the American middle class, but Obama is still going to win and they all have that loss coming. But the US will have a lot better and brighter future with a wave to go with the win. TheRock Obama not being real doesn't change what is at stake, and what is possible.

To my friends who are always living in terror that the GOP is going to steal the latest election, over whatever the latest "October Surprise" meme is, I say this: don't be afraid, pile the fuck on. Add that fuel to your fire. Add the Non-Rumble in the Rockies to the rest of the shit pile. This is personal, not business. You can't steal a landslide, so let's remember it all and give them one. Like I said, they have it coming.

An electorial beatdown.

Let's pile on.

They have earned every bit of it.

While we're on this, you know what really sticks in my craw? The destruction of the unions by the 1% and the wholesale export of the manufacturing jobs out of our country. These jobs paid good wages to hard-working Americans, and these Americans paid a boatload of taxes on those wages. And now the 1% is crying, "We pay too much in taxes." Well, duh! You managed all on your own to decimate a good part of the tax base, now quit your whining and pay your share. I am not sympathetic.

Pitch perfect to me. I have really had it with the GOP and their stable of media whores and sanctimonious fuckwits trying to make America take a bite out of the stale shit sandwich that is Romney and Ryan. This week, between the debate and that swollen tick Sununu and that arrogant prick Gingrich calling Obama a lazy, shiftless, stupid ___________ I was really starting to burn up inside. Feeling better after reading this and posting it on my Facebook page. Thank you for bringing it here.
