As Lindsey goes, so goes the party.

Trust me on this, it's a chicken / egg deal of which one follows the other, but Graham is now refering to Trump supporters as "the mob", and the GOP will join him. Like a windsock, you don't know which one moved first, but they'll all be pointing the same direction sooner rather than later.

How do you like your toast?

Lindsey Graham is an opportunist. It's not like he suddenly found a pocket full of moral integrity. NoRoadUntravelled Jan 2021 #2

I always thought McCain might help him grow a spine but some people just slide back into the mud despite the number of times you pull them out. I’m surprised he’s not flicking a tongue out every now and again.

He and others enabled and encouraged Trump. It doesn't matter whether it was for reward or if they were blackmailed. We are in this horrible predicament only because they helped Trump put us here.

Graham has denounced Trumpism on the record, and that's a sign of what's coming from the rest of the GOP.

They haven't become new people, they're just putting their words together differently because it works better for them.
