I was listening to someone talking about the 25th and impeachment on MSNBC last night...

...around 11:30 or so I think (I wasn't watching, just listening on headphones while taking a late-night walk for my sanity), and someone was saying something to the effect that we shouldn't hold our breath waiting for either the 25th Amendment or impeachment because they were both long, complicated processes, just look at how long it took to organized Trump's first impeachment, etc., etc...

Really!? I have a hard time believing that in an emergency (and were ARE in an EMERGENCY!) the cabinet and/or Congress can't just skip over the most of the procedural niceties AND GET IT DONE!

I'm sadly not holding out much hope for this, but I still don't think it has to be long and complicated if the will is there and the need is great.

Without a peep out of Trump that I've heard yet today, I'm wondering if he isn't already a basket case -- much worse so than usual, that is.
