Forrest & Assoc Masonry....they are a good respectable contractor and have been for probably over 50 years in the DM area. They do not deserve any crap because of this dildo's actions. He is a laborer and has been for several years....all they do is carry blocks and mortar to the masons all day long. You could train a chimpanzee to do that, but it would be beneath their intellect. I wouldn't be surprised if he was on a temp layoff due to winter conditions here now and collecting unemployment. Typical of that job at this time of year.

In the 70's I worked for another contractor that often worked alongside Forrest & Assoc crews. They were generally really great guys. One of the Masons who worked for them that I really liked had a masters degree in English Literature. He had worked over a decade for them. It was just a job that allowed him to kind of keep to himself and not feel really pressured. He loved it and probably tested out at genius levels. My apologies if you felt slighted by my comment. That was not my intent. I only wanted to convey that there was nothing in Jensens employment that required tremendous problem solving capabilities. I'm getting close to retirement and one thing I've learned in the past half century of work is that the job you have is not a direct indicator of intellect. I've suffered under dumb as a rock CEO's and worked in ditches next to guys like the above mentioned English Lit guy. At the same time as I worked next to him I worked in the same basements and ditches with a guy who was in college at the time and is now head of a political consulting group in DC that routinely works for national and governor level campaigns. I eventually worked my way to being a part owner in an Engineering consulting firm. Another guy on our crew was an alcoholic Tennessee hillbilly that had a 6th grade education, but functionally probably wasn't beyond 1st grade. He was a good worker though and did what was expected of him, at least after he threw up every morning and cleared his head somewhat.

take one of those jobs because I am so old and kinda what we are relegated to, but the upside is there is not a massive responsibility or pressure and once out of work, I am free to play. And again, at my age, I prefer that to trying to climb the ladder. Thanks.

They id'd him to the press, so I am guessing there is an internal discussion going on on how to handle this. I wouldn't immediately jump into any harrassment mode with them. It's not their fault he's a dildo. He probably is on a temp layoff right now because of weather and collecting unemployment. They may just decide not to call him back, might be easiest for them re: any rules pertaining to potential future challenge on accessing unemployment.
