Then we organized. Made sure Obamacare was held. Record #s of women and other minorities, then ran for office. That was our response to our disappointment.
We did not try to overthrow the govt, there were no countless lawsuits. We committed to the peaceful transfer of power. That's what patriots do.

These people are a disgrace and have sold out this country to worship a conman.

6. The Women's March was a joyous affair

I was there. There was no display of hatred or rage. We danced, we cheered, we hugged. We wore pink pussy hats to symbolize our shared gender, a proud, defiant pushback to Trump and right-wing's misogyny.

Yesterday was all about anger, resentment and the embrace of violence and destruction.

These two events couldn't be further apart. The Women's March was a celebration, life-affirming.
