From what I have heard anyway, I think about 4/3 would be glad to remove Cruz by any means possible

The Texas voters can recall him, if they so wish, but it won't happen that quickly. I believe it doesn't happen until the next general election, in 2 years I suppose.

If 2/3 of the Senate agrees they can expel a member. But I dont think federal officials can be recalled by petition, at least not in TX.
