I turned off NPR today, when they started interviewing racists and thugs to get their "views."

They're fucking racists, OK?

They've got enough attention from the media. I don't give a shit about interviewing them to see "how they feel now."

They're racists. They don't need more bullhorns to tell us who they are. They're racists.

The media should stop interviewing them. We know who they are. They're racists, white supremacists, pure and simple.

Did I say they're racists?

Thanks for listening.

They are not the NPR of my younger days. They've got the both siderisms down to an art.

...quiet to allow myself to think during my commute. There being so much news in the last few days, I made an exception. As it's been some years I was somewhat shocked to see that they were now a bullhorn for racist terrorists. They interviewed one of the arrested terrorists. It was like interviewing Ted Bundy to get his views on women.

9. Yes, I have no idea what happened to them over the years, but a huge disappointment to me.

...advice and wrote to NPR.

For much of my adult life I was a regular donor to public media, but when they started running ads on children's shows, some by food companies that were subsidiaries of cigarette companies that I was boycotting after my father's death from lung cancer, I stopped doing so.

I guess I found out not much has changed, but I let them know how I feel.

The person interviewed had already been indicted for participation in this terrorist act.

NPR felt he needed a megaphone or Mamaroneck and gave him one.

Then let NPR know it! Write them and tell them or email them and tell them your feelings about that.

If you used to contribute to them, but don’t anymore, let them know that. And let them know why you’re doing it.

OK maybe it won’t change anything but at least you can try.

He was a 69 year old shit head who felt perfectly OK with overthrowing the government.

Personally, I found giving him a megaphone to be appalling.

Their editorial view is liberal but they always legitimize indefensible people and positions by interviewing them and getting “their side of the story”. It’s ridiculous and a disservice to the listeners.

Once they started taking money from the Kochs and others I was done with them. I know they might have to do what they gotta do to stay afloat but their news coverage is awful. Both sides crap and rarely any pushback on bullshit. My wife still listens and it is amazing what you hear coming from them when you don’t just buy in because you want to believe your membership money is going to something good. It sucks what they have turned into and maybe not entirely their fault but it is what it is. Or rather it isn’t what it was.
