What's this @AkivaMCohen, @questauthority, @marceelias?
Surely it can't be true? (I'm not from US and I have no immediately available knowledge on where and how to check the validity of.. what ever this is) https://pic.twitter.com/Ts3zAaTqVH

Zero chance that is a real document. There are a massive number of indications that it's fake.

(1,249 posts)but I am realizing that there are so many of them. We cannot allow this corruption, lack of decency, lack of morals/values to continue.

(115,836 posts)For starters, it cites "rule 37 of the Federal Rules of Election Procedure." There are no such rules. They don't exist. And even if they did, this thing purports to come from the GA Supreme Court, which wouldn't apply any federal rules. Lin Wood, if he's the source of this, is certifiable.

(6,476 posts)for electronic filing. Georgia attorney could confirm but in Texas, for example, you have to file electronically and there would be filing confirmation in upper right hand corner

(6,476 posts)...and the filing of a pleading is the act which exposes an attorney or party to possible sanctions.
Almost certainly a fake because it purports to be a motion while a Court would rule by an order. Also, ALL orders preface the signature with a date because all rules require a date from which a party must respond, appeal or request rehearing. It is void as an order without a date

(9,197 posts)Every ethical opinion Ive ever seen involving forgery by an attorney resulted in disbarment.
It appears to be the work of someone who doesnt really know what such filings look like. Courts dont make motions. They rule on them in orders or rulings or opinions. Also, I dont know about Georgia, but in my state everything is e-filed. I havent seen a judges signature (let alone a justices) in years.

(115,836 posts)not only because he wouldn't actually forge a court document, but because this one is too completely off the wall even for him.
