WTF is wrong with Republicans?

Forget the elected officials, for a moment.

What makes Republicans prefer someone like Trump (buffoonish, egotistical, unpredictable, prone to lying) to Joe Biden (experienced, intelligent, predictable, normal)?

Why do they hate Democrats (people who value health care, fair wages, education, good government) so much?

I really don't understand how people think that voting Republican is in their best interests, unless they are filthy rich.

Biden AND Clinton both won the "white vote" among the voters who didn't identify themselves as evangelicals in the exit polls.
