Got this gem from a dear friend....
I worked for the federal govt for 31 years. The govt def has it's faults and can be very incompetent at times, but when it comes to security, THEY DO NOT F*CK AROUND. Those security guys live in their own world, one in which we have no idea what is going on. They know shit that no one wants to know, they're mostly paranoid, and react, even over react to the slightest disturbance. They're serious mfers. I would not want to be on the wrong side of those boys.
So, as I'm watching this mob of sick traitors march to the Capitol and start to mount the steps I'm thinking where the hell is security? First thought that popped in my head. It isn't as tho we never saw this coming. That orange traitor has been egging this on, daring his "patriots" to take the fight to the streets to get back "their" country. Everyone knew this was coming. It was organized on social media. It was basically public info. And no security?? WTF? Immediately I knew what was going on.
I am absolutely convinced of it just as I'll bet anyone with a little knowledge of the security protocols of the US govt would be. No extra cops or NG on hand? Just the standard detail who stood aside for the most part because they were overwhelmed. And I HAVE ZERO DOUBT they were told to stand down and the order came from the WH. No doubt in my mind. Recall, these are Trumps "good people, his patriots" expressing their first amendment rights. Let them have their say, do his bidding, hands off. He was completely responsible. He got exactly what he wanted. Think I'm wrong, take a look at the security implemented for the BLM march this summer. NG was deployed in full riot gear on the very same steps of the Capitol. Hundreds of them. Military vehicles everywhere, cops all over the place, impromptu donut shops springing up all over. That they did not do that Wed PRIOR to the march is not just mind boggling but begs so many questions. Like who ordered the stand down, because that's what it was.
