over not having done more to stop Trump a chance to back up their words.

I'll be very surprised if many of them step up and show courage, but the vote will serve a useful purpose in forcing Republicans to finally take a stand, with full knowledge of what Trumpism is about.

I actually think that enough of them will defect. It actually is the smarter long term play, and, if any of them have an ounce of integrity, it is the right thing for the country.

We are actually throwing them a lifeline. I hope some of the Democratic Senators bring it up. Soon Biden's administration will be going through what evidence Trump was unable to destroy (I am praying on a few loyal government employees saved it). When that comes out, it will blow the socks off the public.

The smart play for Biden is to do everything he possibly can to tarnish Trump all the way back to the 2016 election. Blow torch him and get a good publicist to exploit it to the maximum.
